So there is this guy - Daniel Albert Bissonnette. He calls himself a nobody on his Youtube channel but take no notice. Daniel works a full time job in a factory but records his own music in his spare time.
The track he initially shared with me is called Shoot Me Dead. I listened several times to the track and for some reason Clint Eastwood comes to mind. Listen yourself on his youtube channel and you will hopefully agree with me. The track has a bit of a stoner groove but trust me, all you need to enjoy the ride is the music.
Take a listen and let me know what you think. I am going through a lot of old posts from my Facebook page and it is likely that I am going to do a series of very short posts in the coming few weeks.
I will share for today You Gotta Pay. It is a track I really like, decent speed and rhythm and to some extent totally weird. The only downside is that most of the tracks on the Youtube channel don't come with a nice fade out at the end. I have left Daniel a comment so hopefully the issue will be fixed.
A friendly guy from Denmark left me a comment on my Facebook page back in September. Seeing that I did a 10 day roadtrip through Denmark back in autumn 2016 I got quite interested in to listen to some more Danish music.
Let's put it this way: The artwork of Redwolves is terrible but the music is actually very interesting (in a good way really) and the longer you listen, the more you love it. There is a lot of straight forward rock and roll but then again, it is not always as simple as that which is a good thing really. Rasmus Cundell on vocals is probably the main reason why I believe their music is not as straight foward, he gives it a bit of an alternative and groovy touch.
Redwolves are based in Copenhagen. Supporting Rasmus are Simon Stenbæk on guitar, Nicholas Randy Tesla bass and Kasper Rebien on drums. I believe it when they say that Thin Lizzy is one of their main source of inspiratioin. Spot on! Redwolves have so far released one EP called Walking Roads. Make up your own mind and listen to Letting You Go.
